Founder Molly Mishi May has 15 years’ experience in product and fashion design. Specialising in bespoke bridal gowns, red carpet glamour, high fashion and wearable tech, Molly launched Mishi May in 2014.
The eclectic experience that informs Molly’s brand includes designer and stylist roles in fashion, film and television, and an in-depth knowledge of historical fashion, military uniforms and vintage clothing. Molly is a collector of fashion and fashion photography, and cites influences such as Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Galliano and Elsa Schiaparelli. She is above all a dreamer and experimental craftsperson.
The Mishi May concept originates from Molly focusing on adventurous and experimental design themes. Her new designs were a hit with stylists and fashion publications at home and abroad, and featured in Vogue, Volition, Rion, Dark Beauty, 10Ten and many more: a new luxury fashion brand was born...
From here, Mishi May’s upward trajectory gained real momentum, Today’s steady stream of high-profile commissions sustains a loyal team of renowned seamstresses and pattern cutters, and the Mishi May brand continues to expand.
